Dazhong collaborates with Bee Maps to upgrade the autonomous driving car map.
Gate News bot message, Volkswagen ADMT will use real-time map data from Bee Maps, which is a service built on the Hivemapper network operating on the Solana platform. The data is collected through "Bee" cameras installed in the vehicles and then converted into dynamic maps using artificial intelligence (AI).
Drivers contributing data will receive HONEY tokens, which will help Hivemapper obtain the "latest global" maps. Bee Maps will assist the Volkswagen ID.Buzz autonomous taxi fleet in Hamburg and Los Angeles to improve operational efficiency, with the goal of achieving driverless operations by the end of 2026.
