BlockBeatsのニュース、2月4日、トランプ暗号プロジェクトWLFIがブロックチェーンプロジェクトを招待し、「トークン交換」取引に参加したという問題に対して、Tronの広報担当者はCoinDeskに対して「トークン交換プロトコルには参加していません。」と述べました。また、Movement Labsの共同創設者であるRushi MancheもCoinDeskに対して、WLFIを含む誰にもトークンを送っていないと述べました。「取引はないし、裏口取引もない。これは純粋に市場での購入です。」（CoinDesk）
