Golden Ten Data, April 1, BlackRock CEO Larry Fink said in his annual letter issued on Monday that many of the people he spoke with were nervous about the recession. Many people's concerns stem from uncertainty over the Trump administration's tariff policy. In the letter, Fink wrote: "I have heard such things from almost everyone with whom I have spoken. They are more anxious about the economy than at any time in recent memory. Earlier this month, Fink said in an interview: "The collective effect in the short term is that the market is retreating. When talking to CEOs across the economy, they say the economy is weakening. But in the annual letter, Fink spoke in a different tone, not going into the specifics of the economic uncertainty that prevails in the financial world, instead pointing to the resilience of capital markets in its 400-year history.
