Kaspersky exposes a counterfeit Android phone implanted with a Trojan to steal Crypto Assets.

Gate.io News bot message, the latest investigation by Kaspersky Lab shows that a large number of counterfeit Android phones are being sold at low prices on the market. These devices are implanted with the Triada Trojan virus, which has the capability to steal Crypto Assets and sensitive data.

According to Kaspersky expert Dmitry Kalinin, attackers have transferred approximately $270,000 worth of Crypto Assets by replacing wallet addresses. The attackers are also targeting the privacy coin Monero.

According to survey data, there have been 2,600 recorded infection cases, with victims mainly distributed in the Russian region. Source: Cointelegraph.
