Water pressure limits hinder hair care? Trump signs executive order to revoke shower regulations
On April 10, Jin10 reported that President Trump signed a new executive order on Wednesday aimed at pursuing a familiar yet elusive goal: "ending the left's war on shower pressure." On Wednesday, Trump instructed Energy Secretary Brouillette to revoke the regulations limiting showerhead water pressure from the Obama and Biden eras. He specifically complained that energy efficiency standards hindered his ability to manage his iconic hairstyle. Trump said to reporters while signing the executive order in the Oval Office, "As far as I'm concerned, I like to take a good shower and manage my beautiful hair. I have to stand under the showerhead for 15 minutes just to get wet. But it drips out one drop at a time. It’s ridiculous." In a fact sheet released alongside the executive order, the White House described the new directive as Trump's effort to eliminate "overregulation that stifles the American economy, consolidates bureaucracy, and suppresses individual freedom."
