The number of measles cases reported in the United States in a single week exceeded 90 for the first time since 2019.

Jin10 Data, April 12 - On April 11 local time, data released by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) showed that for the first time since 2019, the number of reported measles cases in the United States exceeded 90 in a single week. Since the week of March 23, the U.S. has reported 91 cases of measles with rash. So far this year, the U.S. has confirmed at least 712 cases of measles, marking the second highest number of cases reported in a single year since the 1990s. In 2019, the U.S. confirmed 1,274 cases of measles.
