Jin10 data reported on April 21, from April 18 to 21, the Hong Kong stock market was closed due to public holidays, but the related ETFs under the Stock Connect experienced a "crazy market." These speculative ETFs are generally smaller in size, and the subscription channel was closed during the market closure, leading to a disconnect between the ETF prices and their true value. The Hong Kong Stock Connect 50 ETF has issued a risk warning announcement. Once the Hong Kong stock market resumes trading and the subscription channel reopens, arbitrage funds may sell, causing the ETF prices to plummet.
