PANews April 21 news, Tomasz K. Stańczak, the new joint executive director of the Ethereum Foundation, stated that the foundation will shift its R&D focus to L1 scaling, L2 support, and user experience optimization, covering protocol upgrades such as Pectra, Fusaka, and Glamsterdam. Vitalik Buterin will reduce his daily coordination work and focus on research promotion, including RISC‑V, zkVM, and privacy directions. He emphasized that Vitalik's and other researchers' proposals are exploratory content that requires community discussion and review, with the goal of accelerating Ethereum's future breakthroughs.
