The US government has proposed its first spending cut plan, requesting to retrieve 9.4 billion dollars.

Jin10 Data, June 4 - On June 3 local time, the White House submitted a request to Congress to retract the approved spending of $9.4 billion, most of which is allocated for foreign aid. House Speaker Mike Johnson stated that the House has formally received the White House's request to retract a total of $9.4 billion in wasteful foreign aid expenditures for the U.S. Agency for International Development, the U.S. Public Broadcasting Service, and others. Mike Johnson mentioned that the House will act swiftly. It is reported that after the proposal is submitted, Congress will have 45 days to process it.
