NYDIG Report: Trump Media Group and Semler Scientific may be the "cheapest Bitcoin treasury company"
As new "bitcoin treasury companies" focused on hoarding bitcoin flood into the market, how to value them has become the focus of the industry, according to Golden Finance. Greg Cipolaro, global head of research at Bitcoin finance firm NYDIG, noted in a June 6 report that Semler Scientific (SMLR) and Trump Media (DJT) had the lowest "equity premiums to NAV" of the eight companies tested, at -10% and -16%, respectively. SMLR and DJT shares were barely unchanged when Bitcoin rallied to $108,500 on Monday, while MicroStrategy (MSTR) rose nearly 5%.
