Odailyニュース エーテル創設者 Vitalik Buterin と Toni Wahrstätter が共同で EIP-7983 提案を提出し、イーサリアムの単一トランザクションのガス上限を 1677 万に設定することを提案しています（ブロックのガス上限とは無関係）。これは、ネットワークのDoS攻撃に対する耐性を強化し、高ガストランザクションによる負荷の不均衡、状態の膨張、及びブロック検証のレイテンシー問題を緩和し、zkVMの互換性と並列実行効率を最適化することを目的としています。現在、この提案は草案段階です。
