Golden Finance reports that, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), Crypto Assets scammers are impersonating law firms to deceive vulnerable individuals, once again swindling their savings, and specifically targeting consumers who have previously fallen victim. The FBI has issued a new warning listing the danger signals that the public should be aware of, including: The lawyer claims to have an affiliation with the government or regulatory agencies. Some law firms claim to collaborate with organizations that do not exist. Cybercriminals may demand that victims pay a so-called "service fee" in the form of Crypto Assets or gift cards, which legitimate institutions would never do.
