The head of the digital asset division at the IRS resigned three months after taking office.
BlockBeats news, on August 23, Trish Turner, head of the digital asset department at the IRS, announced her resignation after just over three months in office. She stated in a post on LinkedIn on Friday: "After over 20 years of service at the IRS, I am concluding this extraordinary career, and I sincerely thank everyone who has shaped my career path and given meaning to my work. Together, we faced complex challenges, established long-term projects, and laid the foundation for the IRS strategy as digital assets moved from the margins to the mainstream." Turner's resignation comes just three months after her appointment to lead the digital asset department in May of this year.
