Odaily Planet Daily News Chorus One is entering the field of Urbit peer-to-peer web hosting service providers. Chorus One is a provider of staking services for more than 40 blockchains and protocols including Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, and Polkadot.

Chorus One’s Urbit team lead, Gary Lieberman, said its new custody platform, Red Horizon, marks the first time a major blockchain or tech company not originally built in the ecosystem will set foot on the Urbit network.
It is reported that Urbit originated in 2002 and is a peer-to-peer network. Its working principle is to give each user a "personal server" to store their own data; when users interact on the network, each of them will save these interactions locally. Record. The network isn't technically a blockchain, but shares many of the same philosophies, such as trying to bypass middlemen and centralize "Web2" applications.
In a press release, Chorus One said the new escrow service could be “perfect for the general public, DAOs, and any other community interested in getting rid of giant corporations.” (CoinDesk)
