The Golden Finance reported that the Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority in the United Arab Emirates has informed farmers that farms cannot be used as mining sites for cryptocurrencies. The government agency stated that this activity is considered a misuse of farms for purposes beyond their intended use. In addition, those who violate this regulation will face a maximum penalty of 10,000 UAE dirhams (approximately $2,722).
