Abstract generation in progress

Jinse Finance reported that Taiko announced on X platform that it will upgrade Taiko BCR mainnet protocol to version 1.7.0 on July 1st. This version is ABI compatible with the current Taiko-geth and client version, but includes underlying protocol changes that affect block proposers and verifiers. The main updates include:

  1. The designated proof of the block must also be the proposer;
  2. Block validators need to verify whether the existing converted stateRoot is zero. If it is, the protocol will only compare the blockHash to determine if another conversion is in dispute.
  3. Reduce the effectiveness and dispute guarantee of the active guarantee and SGX proof by 50%; 4, Gas optimization;
  4. Upgraded the Hekla testnet protocol, which may result in some block proposals and proof-of-transaction failures. It is recommended that all Hekla block proposers and provers update their transaction parameters as soon as possible.
