Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm's criminal trial has been postponed to April 2025

Golden Finance reported that a New York judge has ruled that the criminal trial of Roman Storm, co-founder of Tornado Cash, will be postponed until April 2025 to resolve the discrepancies disclosed by expert witnesses. The original trial date was set for December this year. Storm's legal team has filed a writ of mandamus with the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to overturn the order regarding expert witnesses, and a hearing is scheduled for November 12. Storm faces three charges, including aiding Money Laundering, unlicensed remittance, and violating sanctions. If convicted, he could face a maximum of 45 years in prison.
