Canada's Central Bank cut interest rates by 25BP as scheduled
On January 29th, Jin10 Data reported that the first Intrerest Rate decision in 2025 saw the Canadian Central Bank cut interest rates by 25 BP to 3.00%, which was in line with market expectations. This is the sixth consecutive rate cut, following two previous rate cuts of 50 BP each in the previous two meetings.
