The vote to terminate the ApeCoin DAO and initiate the new entity ApeCo's AIP-596 has been launched.
Techub News reports that Yuga Labs co-founder Garga.eth tweeted that the proposal AIP-596 to dissolve the ApeCoin DAO has initiated voting, aimed at further advancing reforms to the ApeCoin ecosystem and orderly transferring assets and responsibilities to the new entity ApeCo established by Yuga Labs. ApeCo aims to enhance the APE ecosystem by supporting high-quality developers and strengthening ApeChain, Bored Ape Yacht Club, and Otherside. The new entity's team will consist of the current Executive Director of the Ape Foundation, Cameron Kates, along with other foundation members and Banana Bill team members.
