The Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing on the structure of the Crypto Assets market on Wednesday.
According to Deep Tide TechFlow news on July 7, reported by Crypto In America, the Senate Banking Committee will hold a hearing on the structure of the Crypto Assets market on Wednesday and plans to release a draft of the regulatory framework discussion. The draft will integrate key elements of the 2023 Lummis-Gillibrand bill and the House CLARITY bill, aiming to complete market structure legislation before the August recess.
Next week, the House of Representatives will vote on three important bills: the Senate's stablecoin bill (GENIUS Act), the CLARITY Act, and the anti-CBDC surveillance bill. The GENIUS Act is expected to be submitted directly to President Trump for signing without modification.
At the same time, the Trump administration's Digital Asset Market Working Group is expected to release its first major report on July 22, which may include recommendations for establishing a Bitcoin strategic reserve and ensuring that crypto companies have access to fair banking services.
The witnesses at this hearing include Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse, Blockchain Association CEO Sommer Mersinger, Chainalysis CEO Jonathan Levin, and Paradigm partner Dan Robinson.
