On July 7, analysis agency Jyske Markets stated that the market showed some tension ahead of the July 9 deadline for U.S. tariff negotiations, but there was no panic. Jyske noted that investors started to adopt a wait-and-see attitude from this Monday. Trump indicated that the tariff letter would be sent out as early as Monday, notifying countries of new tariffs, while the U.S. Secretary of Commerce stated that the tariffs would not take effect until August 1. "Despite some tension today, the market's reaction to the tariff situation seems to be much more relaxed, so a repeat of the panic situation after Liberation Day on April 25 is not expected." This week is light on data, with tariffs being the main focus. (Jin10)
