Abstract generation in progress

On July 8, according to Blockworks, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit approved the motion to withdraw Coin Center's appeal regarding the Tornado Cash sanctions, which was jointly submitted by the Treasury Department and Coin Center. This shows a significant shift in the U.S. government's stance in the encryption field, as the U.S. government had proactively lifted these sanctions as early as March this year. The U.S. government lawyers stated in the motion to dismiss that it was this proactive decision that made the case "not subject to actual dispute." This decision did not prevent the trial proceedings against Tornado Cash founder Roman Storm, which will begin on Monday, July 14.
