Suspicious withdrawals from BtcTurk have increased to approximately $54 million.

On August 15, according to CertiK Alert monitoring, suspicious withdrawals from the Turkish crypto trading platform BtcTurk have increased to approximately $54 million. Yesterday, BtcTurk announced that it had detected abnormal operations in its Hot Wallet and has temporarily suspended the deposit and withdrawal services for Crypto Assets for safety reasons, pending the completion of an investigation. The official statement mentioned that most assets are stored in a secure Cold Wallet, and the company's finances are stable, so user assets are not affected. The deposit, withdrawal, and trading functions for the Turkish Lira are operating normally. The platform has notified regulatory authorities and taken all necessary security measures.
