The emergence of digital stocks: a revolution or just a brand trial? BlackRock's application for digital stock products may seem like a technological innovation, but it actually concerns the grand strategy of global asset digitization. It sounds very "crypto", but is actually highly attractive to traditional finance: faster settlement, more flexible dividends, and greater transparency of ownership.
