A certain Whale deposited 1.8 million USDC to increase the position on unrealized losses in a leveraged shorting position for HYPE.
On May 8, according to Spot On Chain monitoring, a Whale has just deposited 1.8 million USDC into Hyperliquid, increasing its short positions in the loss-making HYPE. In the past week, this Whale has invested 10.36 million USD into a 5x leveraged shorting position on HYPE, facing unrealized losses of 1.24 million USD.
