The minimum threshold for participation in the event was around $2 million, while 25 contenders for VIP seats and the right to exclusive service spent an average of about $4.8 million per seat, calculated journalists from WIRED.

The list of VIP leaders for the upcoming gala dinner is headed by a user with the alias Sun, who as of the morning of May 12, held approximately 1.4 million TRUMP tokens with a total value of over $19 million.

Journalists from The New York Times highlighted an unusual feature of summing up the results of the competition: at least 17 of the 220 winners who sought to dine with the president bypassed the system and won by resetting the number of TRUMPs to zero without accumulating coins. The rating of participants was based on the average number of TRUMP tokens over the past three weeks, and not on the final balance as of the date of summing up.

According to the terms of the upcoming event, invited participants are not guaranteed that the President of the United States will attend the meeting. If Donald Trump is unable to attend or the gala evening is canceled, participants will receive a limited edition Trump NFT as compensation.

The first "cryptocurrency gala dinner" with Donald Trump is scheduled for May 22 at Trump National Golf Club in Washington, D.C.
