Florida investors sue trading school and fake cryptocurrency exchange after being scammed out of $860,000
An investor in Florida, Brian Firestone, has sued the Alpha (ASITC) Investment Training Center and the fake exchange CoinBridge Partners after being defrauded of $860,000. Firestone stated that he was approached by John Smith, who claimed to be a representative of ASITC, and was given $500 to start trading cryptocurrencies.
ASITC has used a signal trading method, in which "professors" send trading instructions to investors. Firestone quickly saw his account balance increase to $2 million but then it was reduced to $12,000 due to losses. He borrowed more money from ASITC but his account was closed when he could not repay the debt. The lawsuit accuses ASITC and the individuals involved of fraud and organized crime.
