Michael Saylor claims that Bitcoin is the backbone of the future of modern finance.
At the BTC Prague conference, Michael Saylor presented a passionate vision of the potential of Bitcoin to revolutionize the financial sector — not just as an asset, but also as a platform for a new era of business and currency.
Sharing the stage with crypto pioneer Adam Back, Saylor described Bitcoin as a "currency virus" designed to penetrate outdated systems while empowering innovative-minded organizations.
Instead of targeting speculators, Saylor has focused on a development strategy. He believes that even small businesses can rise to become key players in the Bitcoin economy by building reserves, going public, raising capital, and reinvesting in BTC. In his view, publicly traded companies have a special advantage in promoting the large-scale adoption of Bitcoin.
He also revealed that his company has developed proprietary indicators and financial products related to Bitcoin, including credit tools (STRK and STRF) and custom models for assessing yield, creditworthiness, and risk based on BTC.
Saylor also predicts that the traditional exchange model may become outdated as direct Bitcoin transactions between businesses, individuals, and banks become more common. He believes that the emergence of Layer-2 networks on Bitcoin will reinforce this transformation, making BTC not only digital gold but also the backbone of modern finance.
"There is no second choice," he concluded, affirming the belief that Bitcoin is not just competing — but it has already been winning.
