Sei will integrate native USDC with CCTP V2 to create high-performance channels for global assets.

On July 11, according to official news, the Sei Development Foundation announced that the native USDC and Circle's cross-chain transfer protocol (CCTP V2) will soon be launched on the high-performance Layer-1 Blockchain Sei Network. This integration will make Sei the preferred network for enterprises and developers seeking reliable, transparent digital dollar functionality and seamless cross-chain capabilities. The native USDC will provide 100% reserve support and a 1:1 USD redemption stablecoin for the Sei ecosystem. Sei's parallelized EVM infrastructure achieves 400 milliseconds finality confirmation, providing an ideal high-throughput environment for complex Decentralized Finance and gaming applications. Sei will become the 13th Blockchain supported by CCTP V2, enabling near-instant USDC transfers and supporting automated on-chain operations through the Hooks feature. The integration of native USDC with CCTP V2 makes Sei a competitive platform for enterprises seeking transparent digital asset infrastructure in the rapidly expanding Decentralized Finance ecosystem.
