The ultimate ideal of DAO is the DAW decentralized autonomous world.

A recent emerging project AutonomousWorlds Network got me thinking from a social and governance perspective. Re-imagining what a world based on the blockchain would look like. In a sense, DAO is an attempt at a decentralized autonomous world from a social perspective.

Autonomous World Network AW, a project aimed at promoting innovation that advances the Autonomous World plot. This project is a member organization of 0xPARC. The organization's full name is Program for Applied Research in Cryptography, which is used to support application-level research and development on Ethereum and decentralized platforms.

The Autonomous World Network (AWN) aims to foster innovation and advance the Autonomous World. Its main areas of focus include

③Education and ecosystem development.

At the same time, AWN is also the main organizer of the 2023 Autonomous World Congress, which will be held in Istanbul on November 15-16 this year.

After introducing the background, let's go back to What is the autonomous world AW? What kind of impact might it have on our future.

An autonomous world is a Fully On-chain world, whether it is a game, a community or a space.

We can see that in the Autonomous World Residency Program realized in 22 years, the more core focus is on:

From an artistic point of view, the function of blockchain to enrich digital physics is not only technical, but also cultural and philosophical. Maybe in the future it will become a mainstream, full of investment value.

Let's start with the composition of the autonomous world (the world with the blockchain as the bottom layer).

1. Using physics to build an autonomous world

When it comes to the most essential worldview, every world contains a set of basic laws that govern everything in it.

For the real world, the biggest law is physics, the physics here does not refer to the common physical laws in our reality (Newton's second law, law of universal gravitation), but refers to the basic law system , the law is the invariant in this system.

Second, use engineering to create an autonomous world

Physics accompanies engineering, and what we are doing is the practice of applying our understanding of the physics of the world to manipulate objects into novel and valuable configurations.

3. Composable Engineering Promotes the Evolution of the Autonomous World

The human world is composed of various basic elements, and composable engineering is defined here as the affordance of a world: allows recursive combination of engineering artifacts, and the depth of recursion is unlimited. Composable engineered artifacts in autonomous worlds will allow inventive composition, enabling the same knowledge compositional processes that have driven human history in atomic realities, thereby driving the evolution of our computing world.

Mathematics, law, code, and physics are all narrative boundaries. The self-governing world is to incorporate certain encryption primitives into the technology stack behind the self-governing world, and integrate asymmetric information through composable engineering. Introduced into boundaries that can be crossed across composition - form an autonomous world of rules formed by cryptographic primitives and cryptographic matrices.

In this world, blockchain is indistinguishable from mathematics, physics, and law. Just formally define the import rules in computer code. 4. Construct a real autonomous world with blockchain

To achieve an autonomous world, two blockchain concepts are important foundations.

The autonomy of the world does not necessarily need to be based on the blockchain, from the ballads of primitive tribes to the blockchain in the real world, we have been iterating and trying. But using the blockchain as the bottom layer of the world can bring a qualitative improvement to the autonomy of the world. The world with the bottom layer of the blockchain is the most autonomous, anyone can implement the introduction of the rules without compromising its objectivity, and the disappearance or betrayal of any specific individual will not harm the world - this power is consensus.

The self-governing world is an objective reality, an entity system implemented by the blockchain and objectively introduced rules. Ethereum and smart contracts are the substrates of the autonomous world, and a large theoretical design space can be enforced by blockchain and smart contracts.

In essence, the autonomous world is using the autonomy and transparency of the underlying blockchain world to endow the rigidity and objectivity of our shared physical reality into our shared intangible reality. In this way, anyone can openly observe the whole picture of the world and reach a consensus. In this world, the entities of this self-governing world remain narrative as long as there is one person participating in the digital consensus.

Of course, it is still unknown whether it will eventually become a trick of counting heads to deceive people.
