Registered as a trust entity in Delaware, WisdomTree is preparing to launch the 'XRP Spot ETF'.
"Fox Business" reporter Eleanor Terrett revealed that ETF issuance management company "WisdomTree" is preparing to launch the "XRP Spot ETF".
Eleanor Terrett's screenshot shows that WisdomTree, with assets under management exceeding $113 billion, registered a trust entity named 'WISDOMTREE XRP FUND' with the Delaware Department of State on Monday, with CSC Delaware Trust Company listed as the registered agent.
NEW: Global ETF provider @WisdomTreeFunds has registered in the state of Delaware for an $XRP ETF. I have confirmed with the company this is a legitimate filing.

This is typically the first step in applying for ETF listing, before BlackRock, Fidelity, and other companies submitted BTC, Ethercoin ETF applications to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), they registered trust entities for these funds.
Eleanor Terrett stated that she has verified with WisdomTree and confirmed that the above application was indeed submitted by the company, making it the third company to apply to launch an XRP spot ETF after Bitwise and Canary Capital.
WisdomTree previously launched the BTCSpot ETF, which currently manages approximately 3.67 billion US dollars in assets, according to The Block data. In May of this year, WisdomTree also obtained approval for the listing of BTC and Ethercoin ETP on the London Stock Exchange.
The US SEC has not yet approved any XRP Spot ETF, and the legal dispute between the regulatory agency and XRP company (Ripple) has not yet been resolved. However, the market generally expects that the US SEC will adopt a more lenient stance towards the cryptocurrency industry under the Trump administration.
