Solana-based meme coinissuance platform Pump.fun announced on Monday that it has decided to turn off live streaming indefinitely due to the platform's recent flood of malicious content, including heinous inappropriate behaviors such as child abuse, bestiality and suicide threats.
The live broadcasting function was originally intended to be benevolent, but it has turned into a hotbed of malicious content.
Pump.fun's initial design for the live streaming feature was intended to allow users to promote their meme coins.
