Does Pi Network Extend the KYC Grace Period to March 15th?

Abstract generation in progress

A few recent tweets have sparked discussions in the Pi Network community about the possibility of extending the grace period for KYC verification. Some users on Twitter have claimed that the deadline has been pushed back to March 14, 2025, giving Pioneers more time to complete their Mainnet checklist. But is this claim true? A Twitter user named Dr. Nicolas Kokkalis, with about 34 thousand followers, tweeted, "Renew the renewal time! Good news, Pioneers! The renewal time has been extended to March 14, 2025. You have more time to complete your Mainnet checklist and secure your Pi. Don't hesitate—take action now!" Along with the tweet, he also shared an image illustrating the same.

Another Twitter user, Dr. Chengdiao Fan, with around 11 thousand followers, shared something similar: 'LATEST PI NEWS: The extension time of the Pi Network has now been extended to Pi Day (14 March 2025). Pi Day marks the actual launch of the Mainnet!' He also attached a picture with a 14-day countdown. At first glance, this seems to be great news for Pi users who have not yet completed KYC. But is that true? Upon closer examination, there are some doubts about the images in these tweets. The images seem slightly skewed as if they have been altered or distorted. Furthermore, upon cross-referencing with official sources, there is no mention of any such extensions. For those who don't know, KYC (Know Your Customer) is an important process in the Pi Network to ensure that all users are real individuals and not fake or duplicate accounts. Completing KYC is necessary to access and transfer Pi on the Mainnet, officially launched on February 20, 2025. Even a quick search on Google still shows February 28 as the deadline, with no updated information about the extension. This makes the spreading tweets seem suspicious. Just because someone with many followers says something on social media doesn't mean it's true. So, what is the final word? The statement that Pi Network has extended the KYC grace period is false. The deadline is still February 28th, so users should be cautious when believing everything they see online without checking official sources.

The long court is useless, everyone has lost confidence, and the central area does not provide mapping.

Those who mine all understand that it has been extended, but the current price and KYC approval have most people stuck at 9 yellow, which seriously affects the enthusiasm of the downline. This is because most people in the China region have not migrated, and even if they have submitted, they do not know when they will be able to migrate, which seems to be far away.

It has indeed been postponed. I have someone counting down below, and I can see that it was 1 day yesterday, but today it is 14 days.
