'Pi Thu' disappointed with the project
According to the announcement of the development team, Pi Network users must complete the KYC process (xác tính) identity and migrate to the (mạng chính) mainnet before March 14. Otherwise, they risk losing the majority of their Pi. Concerns grow as the deadline approaches. The identity verification process is an important part of the Pi network, serving payment and transaction functions. However, the number of KYC accounts currently accounts for a small part. ExplorerPi data shows that about 11 million people are put on the mainnet. The team's announcement says it owns up to 60 million users. Nearly 50 million Pi Network accounts will lose their mined account, if not verified after a few more days. The development team has repeatedly extended the mainnet key milestone. But according to the latest announcement on social network X, user assets will not be guaranteed after March 14. The situation is even more urgent when Pi has gone public, turning it into a valuable asset. If KYC is not possible, miners will lose a large amount of money.
Currently, many long-time Pi players express their frustration when the application makes it difficult to verify. "The team did nothing to support. This is a very common problem," said Jaro Giesbrecht, a longtime Pi miner who posted on X. Pi player has done KYC, was uploaded to the mainnet list, but the process stalled. Jaro Giesbrecht criticized the project, saying that it had to solve all customer problems before closing the network. "This whole process is like a joke. 80% of my assets are shown as unverified. Meanwhile, the entire security circle has completed KYC. No additional instructions have been given to deal with it," another player commented. On the other hand, a lot of users have problems in Step 9, in the mainnet checklist. In this situation, Pi can only wait. Meanwhile, it is only a few days away from the deadline to go online.
In Vietnam, many users also have the same problem. In addition to being on the waiting list, not being browsed on the mainnet, a large amount of "Golden Pi" will also disappear on its own in the near future. Specifically, when KYC is done, it is not certain that all cryptocurrencies can be traded. The miners divide assets into two types, Purple Pi and Yellow Pi. Purple refers to the part of users who earn themselves through daily attendance, which can be pushed to the blockchain. Meanwhile, the gold comes from members who have entered the referral code or belong to the mining circle. Only when these people are KYC, the aforementioned amount of Pi will turn purple. In most cases, this section will disappear on its own because many people have abandoned their accounts.
