1Hive is a community that builds and experiments with decentralized applications and protocols, including Honeyswap, Agave, Gardens, Celeste, and 1Hive TV. The aim of 1Hive is to create an economic engine that can effectively and sustainably fund public goods. At the heart of these experiments is an effort to construct a sustainable and prosperous economy around a currency known as Honey. This currency can be used to influence the direction of the community, and it can be bought or earned by contributing to 1Hive. It can also be used to cast votes on funding proposals and protocol changes.
