Golden data on November 12th, Trump's victory prompted traders to take profits, and the outflow of funds from the world's largest gold ETF, SPDR Gold Trust, exceeded $1 billion last week, the largest weekly outflow since July 2022. Spot gold fell by 1.9% during the same period. The total holdings of gold ETFs fell by 0.4%, marking the second consecutive week of decline. Last month, investors flocked to safe-haven assets due to the high uncertainty of the US election. However, with Trump's victory in key battleground states and Republican control of the Senate, investors exited their positions to take profits. Trump's victory also boosted US stocks and the US dollar, reducing the attractiveness of gold to investors holding other currencies. Gold traders continued to take profits on Monday, causing the price of gold to fall to a one-month low, and the share price of gold miners experienced a significant decline.
